The Art of Knitting and Writing
Aren't they the same. No not at all. Knitters don't write and writers don't knit. I don't know anybody that knits that writes a thing, likewise none of my writer friends, personally and internet don't kit. They do take special skills as I watch Emily knit sweaters for grandchildren, some here now are a new one coming in June. I couldn't do it. Then again she says she couldn't write anything as I write my short stories. But both are demanding in their own way. Patience, patience, that's all it takes. Only the builder knows where the building errors are. Likewise only the writer knows where his faults are in a story, too much character or not enough, not enough back story, etc. Anyway look for my new book "The Man in the Moon" on smashwords.com for down loading on your electric reader

Reading, Writing and Arithmetic
Reading is a great thing, to think we've been doing it all our life. Well most of us probably started at an early age, maybe two to four. Me, I started at one but I never told anyone. To this day I read every day, most people do, you know, they just don't realize it.
Writing, now that's a good one. We do that all the time too. But if someone would ask, "Are you a writer?" what would you say? You'd say, "No" I think of myself as a writer of sorts. I've written a couple of shorts that I submitted for magazine publishing. I think they thought I moved because I never heard from them. I am writing a novella, 25000 words that I going to epublish and will be available electronically on Amazon for Kindle and other formats.
Arithmetic, now that's a hout. I love it. I like math puzzles. Geometry and other lifeforms.
