I'm Published, Now What?

Okay I have my first book published, I feel like a real writer now. No, not really. It's only on Amazon with 350,000 other books. "What now?" I ask. From my sales background I know the key is exposure, exposure. Go and expose yourself I would say to my salesman, let them know you are out there. So I will make a mass emailing to friends and family, post on facebook which you might be reading now, be at the top of google and yahoo searches. What else. Maybe I'll have a book signing at the New York library or something grandeous like that, maybe not. Bye, I must go marketing now, where's my other hat. Oh yes, you can order at

Ashes to Ashes

Stephen Hawking said, "We came from nothing and we leave with nothing." His theory and research into the creation of the universe are very profound. He is most likely an athesis. The phrase, "ashes to ashes and dust to dust" is commonly used in burial services. It comes from the first chapter in the Bible, Genesis. The thought that we end up as dust is not pleasant, but unfortunately it is the case. The life as we know it, comes to an end, but our faithfill and spiritual life continues on in an eternal continuation. Maybe Dr. Hawking was on to something.

Dangers of not Writing

Have you ever wondered where your grand parents came from or your great grand parents. Next time at a family function give grandma a notebook and ask her to write down her memories. Memories of her growing up, memories of her parents and brothers and sisters. How man times I have wished I had asked my elders things that I wonder about today. If only we had them written down. Keep a journal and when your children are older, read some of it at dinner. Hope they don't fall asleep. Keep writing!!!
